The Delaune Stadium

Auguste Delaune stadium is legendary in the eyes of the Remois and football fans around the world, because it was the place of the exploits of the great team of the Stade de Reims.

Auguste Delaune stadium was officially inaugurated on June 2, 1935, but the Stade de Reims had however already invested the place for over a year. After several seasons of work, the former velodrome was replaced in August 2008 by a renovated, modernized and enlarged stadium to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators. Auguste Delaune stadium is legendary in the eyes of the Remois and football fans around the world, because it was the place of the exploits of the great team of the Stade de Reims (Kopa, Fontaine, Piantoni ...), which marked a generation. In 2019, the stadium will host 6 matches of the Women's Football World Cup. It also remains the stronghold of the Stade de Reims, currently in Ligue 1.
